Everyone is creative! Sometimes, people just need a little encouragement and information. And that is exactly what my workshops and lectures provide. They are inspiring and engaging, with loads of information, featuring colourful and distinctive quilt samples in a fun, creative atmosphere.
RANDOM ACTS OF QUILTING
An educational, and entertaining look at “real life” quilting. I share great ideas and lessons learned (some learned the hard way), and reveal some of the sacrosanct rules that can and should be broken. Topics include random piecing, fabric shockers, industry secrets, approaches to borders and bindings, and other brilliant quilting insights.
THE WONDER OF SMALL BLOCKS
An informative talk and trunk show where the secrets of small block and small pieced quilts are revealed. Lots of inspiration is provided using examples of quilts from our books, and quilts made since the books were published (you know you can’t make just one!).
Learn how to “read” any quilt for inspiration and to glean information about piecing techniques, construction, colour combinations, and history. You will be running to your stashes to start creating your own unique design!
