Remember this amazing quilt from the “Twelve Quilts of Christmas” this past year.  Well there was such a response to this quilt … it really struck a chord with readers … that a quilt along just seemed natural.

Head on over here to register and join in the fun.

Hope to see you there!

Happy Stitching!

I took your great string piecing class in Minnesota last year. I’m looking forward to learning more from your insights into color and pattern in this project.

Hi Carolyn, I’m so glad you are going us. Keep us posted about your progress with this project!

  3. I hope you don’t mind my naivety, but I’ve never joined a stitch along. Is this a class? Is there a cost? If so how much and how do I pay you. Then, what if I can’t keep up? And, is there a supplies list?
I just found your blog – not sure how it took so long to find you.

No worry at all about the questions. This is a free quilt along. No fees. You work at your own pace. If it takes you three months that’s find. If it takes you two years, that is fine. We are all here to support one another. Not really a supplies list. If you read through the first blog post about the quilt you will get a feel for what fabrics you want to put together for this project. So glad you found my blog. Thank you for saying hello!

Hi, how do I find the next post for the sashing? I signed up and somehow found the first post for fabric selection and how to construct the block. How can I acces the next step please?

Hi Jamie, I will be posting about the sashing in the coming weeks when I get to that stage, so stay tuned and check back on the QAL page of my website.
